Go from this to this:

	First I resized the base to 82x82.
	I used an eraser to trim around the edges to form a cloud shape.
	Next I took this brush and placed it in the upper right corner.
	Then I took this brush and placed it on the bottom.
	Now make a new layer and fill it with #C36F9F.
	Change the colored layer to Screen 100%. WOOT! WE ARE DONE!

Thanks for showing the steps, cause it does look more difficult then it is. Funny how you can create lovely icons in only a few steps ^^

lol, i cant write tutorials... i have a dutch version of Photoshop (i know its crap, but it was the only version of CS that i could get my hands on) and well i wouldnt know what everything is called in english. Translating the other way around is a little easier. But even using English tuts is difficult for me, cause sometimes i cant find the right stuff. It frustrating sometimes ;)

hmm...... i dont use like all those fancy things like vectoring and such. XD

i'm not a personal fan of Photoshop CS. I love my Photoshop 7. XD it makes my world happy.

I never had photoshop 7. I went from 4 to 6 and from 6 to CS, lol.

But it seems that my botfriend - who tells me nothing XD - has an english version of CS

*goes to steal it*

But even then.. i dont think my icons are that good ;) I might join later on if i had some pratice with writing tuts ^^ For now i have friended the community so i can keep track of the tuts ^_^ So i can see how you write them ^_^

But i think, even though the techniques you are use seem to be pretty easy, you have a great feeling for style! And your tuts are really newbie friendly.

XD i like newbie friendly things.

making good icons takes time.... some of the things i first made were hidious.... ;~; it took me over a year to figure out how to design pretty icons.

OF COURSE!!!!! MUAHAHAHA! AND SOMETIME I SHALL TEACH US ALL HOW TO MAKE MOVING ICONS.... but that will be later....... when i'm not overloaded with summer reading. [i start school in 3 days....] ;~;

woo! I did it!!

I do think i got a little bit different result then you. Because i didnt know which one screen was ^^; (stupid Dutch photoshop) However i like the result i got!

I cant show it now though cause its in a contest ^^
